Hello how are you doing today did you have a nice trip? Today I will guide you through the boats and markets. Please follow me. First thing I would like to talk about the boats. The boats were made from wood. Each boat was 180ft long. The boat was powered by people with oars .They had 18 to 24 oars on each side of the boats.Romans carried different things on the boats. The boats carried things like olive oil,and other goods. They had a pot to put the oil in. They took beef, corn, glassware, lead, leather marble, perfumes, purple dye, silk, silver, spices, timber, tin, and wine from Arabs and Indus valley. Now you know about the roman boats. Now you can learn about the markets. The markets sell pig heads porridge; fruit, potatoes, and tomatoes. They hold the market in the forum under the apartments. Porridge is oatmeal. The markets were made of different things like stone and wood. People would set up stands that looked like tents and sell their goods under them. Now you know about the markets in our roman times.
